2010 Highest Scoring Pennsylvania
Bred Pony
Pine Creeks Chickadee,
a filly foal, was the highest scoring PA bred pony at Devon
on pony hunter breeding day. Chickadee, owned by Locke Ellen
Kelly, is by Evans Cirque de Dralion and out of Woodlands
Mimosa. The trophy is presented by the Pennsylvania Pony Hunter
Breeders Association and the cooler was donated by Just for
Ponies.
2009 Highest Scoring Pennsylvania
Bred Pony
The Pennsylvania Pony
Breeders Association (PPBA) Perpetual Trophy for the highest
scoring PA bred pony was won by the colt foal, I AM O WIN,
owned by Cheryll W. Francella. The navy cooler presented to
the winner of this award was donated by Just for Ponies.

Middleway's Handsome
Devil, three-year old welsh cross pony won the coveted Best
Pennsylvania Bred trophy at Devon. In the photo, from left,
are Emily Belin, handler, Amy Louise Trout, owner, Justine
Armanek, breeder, Susan Hansen, PHPBA, Dick Webster, Devon
Trophy Committee, and Cynthia Deibert, PHPBA. Middleway's
Handsome Devil is by JLA Sir William out of Hailey's Comet.

The 2007 high point PHPBA pony was "Jack
Rabbit" owned by John W. Kelly Jr, sired by Rocky Rabbit,
bred by Jan Nolan at the The Hutch and handled by Oliver Brown.
To earn this award, Jack Rabbit was 2nd in the yearling colt
class & was in the winning Get of Sire group (Get of Rocky
Rabbit).
